What thickness bathroom mirror do I need?
The minimum thickness of a bathroom mirror depends on its size. Small bathroom mirrors can be supplied in 4 mm thickness, large mirrors are always supplied in a thickness of 6 mm. Besides the size, it is also important to assess how flat the wall is on which the bathroom mirror will be mounted. If the wall is slightly concave or convex, always choose a 6 mm thick mirror. This 6 mm mirror is rigid and will not adjust to the back wall. With 4 mm thick mirrors, it is possible that they will also become concave or convex, and this creates a kind of laughing mirror effect. There is then a distorted image when you look into the mirror.
