Steps for mounting a mirror
- Choosethe right place. The first thing you need to do is decide where you want to place the mirror. Make sure the place is suitable and that there is enough space for the size of the mirror. Consider the proximity of light sources for the best reflection.
- Measure and mark. Use your tape measure and level to locate where the mirror will hang. Using the pencil, mark where the screws or mounting clips should go.
- Drill the holes. Carefully drill the marked points with your drill press. Remember to wear your safety glasses and gloves to protect yourself. If you are drilling into masonry, you must use wall plugs.
- Attach the screws or clips. Screw the fasteners into the drilled holes. If using mirror clips, attach the bottom clips first.
- Hang the mirror. Place the mirror in the lower clips and tilt it against the wall. Make sure the mirror is secure before attaching the top clips.
- Check the level. Use the level to make sure the mirror hangs straight. Adjust if necessary.
